Years in Child Care: I’ve been passionately working in child care since 2006. I worked with Preschool-school age children until 2010 and since have been working with mainly infants/toddlers. I believe that the young ones need a high quality teacher too!
Why you love children: I love working with kids because it really is the best job in the world! I love being able to teach them while we are playing and exploring their environment. I love reading, singing and doing fun art projects with them every day. I get just as excited as they do to pull out the paints and get messy! We learn from each other. They constantly teach me things that I didn’t know before. I love filling this role for them and helping each step of the way.
Family: I have been with my husband since 2005 and we’ve been married since 2008. We don’t have any children yet, but we look forward to that in the future. We’ve been blessed with a lot of kids in our family to love, spoil and keep us busy in the meantime!
What do you do in your free time: In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my Hubby, my friends, and family. I watch quite a bit of Netflix, Hulu, and I love many movies (Harry Potter, Star Wars, Lord of The Rings, Labyrinth, all Tim Burton, and Disney, just to name a few!) Hello, my name is Nichelle and I was born in the Phillippines on Clark AFB in May 1989. I am currently a student at Central Georgia Technical College and will be graduating December 2016 with my Associates in Applied Science. After I receive my Associates I will continue my education with Early Childhood Care Education and work towards getting my Bachelor’s Degree.
I enjoy working out and constantly moving. I get very bored when I sit still for very long, so I enjoy moving around and constantly look for things to do and to get accomplished. I have a beautiful daughter named Lexi Caroline who means the world to me. I always try to be the best I can be for myself and her, she’s my motivation. Because if I can’t be the best I can be the I can’t ask the same from her.
Hello! My name is Rachel and I am the Infant Teacher at Toddler House. I have worked with children since 2014 and have been lucky enough to work with children from 6 weeks of age up to 30 months old. Babies have always been my favorite age group; I love how they laugh, learn, love and trust unconditionally. My goal is to help each child reach their milestone moments with a structured curriculum personalized to each baby’s developmental level.
I received my Associate’s Degree in December of 2014 for Early Childhood/Special Education from my hometown college, Lorain County Community College in Elyria, OH. I am currently working towards my BA in the same field online at Grand Canyon University.
I have wanted to be a teacher since 6th grade, in order to inspire children the way so many teachers had inspired me up until that point and throughout the rest of my educational career. I am a lifetime Girl Scout and have enjoyed volunteering to train younger girls in the Scout Ways.
I am currently engaged with the wedding date set for September 2018. Outside of wedding planning, I love spending time with my 4 cats and reading or doing almost anything outside.
I started working for Toddle Town on May 1, 2017. I graduated from Southern Wayne High School in Dudley, North Carolina in June 2010. I graduated from James Sprunt Community College on May 10, 2017 with my Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and my Associate Degree in School Age Education. I am CPR, AED, First Aid trainged and certified through the Red Cross. I also have my Food Handler Certification. I come from a very large family, which exposed me to child care at a very early age.
In addition, I am a mother to two handsome, energetic sons, Greyson and Nicholas. I have been working with children for 11 years now. The reason I chose this field to work in is to make a difference to all children I come in contact with. I want to provide each child with a safe, loving, and nurturing environment while learning through play. Each and every day that I am within the classroom, my job is filled with passion and it no longer feels like work. It is my goal to ensure each child leaves a better person through developmentally age appropriate activities.
In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family, our cat Cali and our bearded dragons, Peanut Butter and Jelly. I love to write poems and stories to boost my imagination and to keep it active. Also, I have been shooting photography for 8 years and it is a strong passion of mine.

When I am not caring for, loving and rocking babies, I am spending time with my kids, my dog and my cat. I also devout a lot of time ministering in my church and leading worship.
